The drone team is an offshoot of robotics created during the 2019-2020 school year. The team competes in the RAD Aerial Drone Competition. We use Parrot Mamba drones and also have access to Anafi Thermal drones for potential future learning opportunities and experiences. Drones will play a significant role in the future and participating in the club can expose you to the rising, potentially lucrative drone markets. There are no additional dues required at the moment for the drone team.
With COVID-19, the registration of the drone team as an independent organization has been impeded. So for now, the Drone Team will remain as an offshoot of robotics.
